Panels are made using 5 layers of wood, laminated in alternating
directions with a water proof adhesive. |

The center of the
round painting panel has a core
of aspen hardwood.
Which is comprised of long thin strips of aspen that are compressed and
glued together to form a striated wafer like core. |

The rigid center core is further strengthened by
gluing 1/4 inch of aspen hardwood to each side of the striated aspen
core. |

The Round Wooden Art Panels front and back are made of natural maple
hardwood veneer. This
painting surface has no knots, seams or voids. The 5 layer balanced
construction prevents movement, and the waterproof glue keeps each
layer from expanding or contracting.
