Art Boards™ Watercolor panels are 3/8" thick. The water color paper is mounted on the surface of an ultra-smooth natural fiber art panel that has no wood grain. The panel is made using a process that combines pure wood from Douglas Fir trees with urethane binders. The wooden panel is double refined with no oils or resins and mounted with Arches 156 lb. rough texture water color paper.

Art Boards™ Arches Rough Watercolor Panels are not mounted to tempered masonite or hardboard. Art Boards™ natural fiber wood artist panels are un-tempered. They are the ideal substrate and are the perfect support for Arches rough textured watercolor paper. Perfect for watercolor, drawing, pastels, and painting of all kinds. The watercolor paper also works wonderfully with Art Boards™ Acrylic Painting Panel Gesso. Custom size watercolor panels are available as large a 48 x 120 inches.
