The watercolor
paper can be easily removed
from the panel at any time in the future by
simply heating the panel to above 140 degrees. This is important to repair,
restore, or re-mount art work in the future.
Arches papers are
mould-made in France
with
100% cotton fiber content, pH neutral and gelatin sized. This combination
creates an excellent surface for watercolor, acrylics, gouache, alkyds,
pencil, pen-and-ink, gesso, oils, and more.
The Natural Fiber Art Panel is 3/8 inch
thick. The back of the painting panel has
dovetail slots to hang the
painting flush to the wall in either direction. The painting surface of the
Arches rough paper has a
heavier tooth than the cold press water color paper. It is perfect for painting applications where
more texture and tooth are desired such as pastels and watercolor.
