Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper is mounted to the Natural
Fiber Panel. The ultra-smooth
Natural Fiber panel surface has no wood grain. It is made using a process that combines pure wood from Douglas Fir
trees with urethane binders; producing a painting panel that is double
refined with no oils, resins, or formaldehyde.

Panels are not mounted to tempered masonite or hardboard.

Natural Fiber wood artist panels are un-tempered. They are the
ideal substrate and are the perfect support for Arches Cold
Press paper. Arches 156 lb. Cold Press Paper is 100% cotton, ph
neutral, and acid free. Arches paper provides a smooth archival
surface perfect for drawing, painting and printing.

Reversible Archival Adhesive provides a
complete acrylic water-proof barrier between the panel and the paper. |
