A full one inch thick the Natural Maple Cradled painting panel is engineered for stability. The cradled back adds extra strength and rigidity. The edge of the wood painting support has excellent screw holding power. Screw eyes and picture framing wire will not split or tear out of the wood. The cradle also makes its own convenient lip on which to hang the panel without the need of hanging wire or picture frame.
The unique 1/2" cradle is made of the same wood core material as the face panel. The wood cradle is glued to the artist panel with water proof glue in a perfectly flat veneer press until fully cured. This compatible balance is the best possible way to insure that the artist panel will remain stable.
