  Canvas Stretcher bar lip holds the stretched canvas away from the flat section of the canvas stretcher bar. Art Boards™ Canvas Stretcher Bar Profile. One inch Thick canvas stretcher bar has a .75 inch thick x 2.5 " wide flat stretcher bar support. Flat section of the canvas stretcher bar is recessed below the stretcher bar lip by 1/4" to keep the canvas free from touching the inside radius of the stretcher bar. The Circular Canvas Stretcher is made of one continuous profile. There are no joints or seams, no breaks in the stretchers continuity. It is 1 inch thick at the lip, and 2 1/2  inches wide. It is incredibly strong and will not warp or twist. Staples hold tight and snug and are easily shot in with the staple gun from the back. They are an exquisitely made art material for artist to stretch canvas on.
